This is the second hill station around Salem City, an altitude of 1190 mts. the Arappateeswarar temple on Chathuragiri Hills is quite famous. The Agasakangai waterfall is unique scenery. Like yercaud this hill station has season round the year. Mild climate prevails all through the year. Best time to visit is during monsoon and post monsoon. Kolli Hills is famous for its availability of Natural honey and tasty jack fruit. It has one Natural lake situated in center of the town. TTDC has made arrangement for boating facilities for tourists. Landscapes are the notable feautres in this Hill Station.
How to Get There? Salem* is 100 kms away and Namakkal is 48kms away from Kolli Hills. The only way to reach is through road with 72 hair pin bends. Said to be the large number of Hair pin bend of its kind in South Indian ghat section. Kolli Hills is well accesible to both Namakkal and Salem City. Bus facilites are frequent from both the location's. Salem Junction is the only nearest source for Rail! Accomodation: Kolli Hills has only one Hotel, which is HOTEL TAMILNADU maintained by TTDC.
