Aayirathil Oruvan (2010)

After a long wait, we are now sure that this movie will hit the screens for Pongal.
I didn't have much interest on this movie until the Audio Release. But it tempted me to be keen on this movie, especially the two songs, 'Pemmanae' and 'Thaai Thindra Maname' both penned by Kavi Perarasu.

As of now, the movie is scheduled to be released in 3 theatres in the city.

I am also awaiting Ayirathil Oruvan release. @loggy yes it should be released in more theaters in Salem. @Vijayan, I too like those songs especially pemmane by P.B.Srinivas, thai thindra manne and the theme musics. Vairamuthu and G.V is just rocking. I think the promotions will be good as I guess Sun pictures gonna handle this. No matter this movie is hit or not but definitely it is a visual treat for the audience. Parthiban has a surprising KING role on this movie. Started with the budget plan of 8 crores but ended with 32 crores !!!. So there is a big pressure on Selva

One message spread out all over TN is All MGRs title re-make are failures. (hitherto 6 such titles including Vettaikaran, NamNaadu, Nadodimannan etc) Hence Aayirathil Oruvan also a failure movie.

Let us wait & see it will break the sentiment of joins in it.

ha ha.. yes there is a small math on that.. lol!

what i smell is, this movie has chance to become like pudhupet, where many people wont understand the whole concept, when it is entirely shot in different way.

another big movie, most expected, to be released on pongal

this is the reason, AO is released in few theaters.

Trailer is looking awesome and a "pramandam" movie. It should be a BB.

May be this movie will show the pulse of the Tamil Audience. Dont know how the adventurous fantasy kinda movie gonna reach. If this did not go well then God should save us from the Masala movies. And again this movie will show the pulse of the Tamil Audience.

BIG Cinemas adds one more theater to this movie.
BIG Cinema KS also will screen this movie.
