I saw this movie on last Friday night in Prarthana, Chennai.

The movie was good to me, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does not do much business.
The director has tried to show the plight and living conditions of the workers of a big store in Ranganathan Street, T Nagar.

The hero who loses his father in a railway level crossing accident, was selected to work in the Senthil Murugan Stores in Chennai. Even though he had 1100+ marks in +2, he had to start earning for his mother and sister.

Anjali (Kani, in the movie) also is a co-worker in the same store. The way they show the working conditions, their mess, their hostel really make one to think, if there would be such a hostel/mess in the world. I strongly believe that it is just a too-much exaggeration. Hundreds of workers were staying in a moderate sized hall, with hardly any space to move around. They also would be taking bath in groups (like what was shown in the Boys' Jail). Things like those really make the movie irritating.

And, there will be a Hitler kind of supervisor in the store, who will keenly watch the activities of the workers, and harras if one found to be taking rest on the staircases when moving between the Godown and the shopping area. The shop management is also against co-workers falling love with each other.

The rest of the story deals with the problems the hero, heroine and their friends face against the management.

I would say that it is a one-time watch movie. THe movie has a happy-sad ending.
