Irumbu kottai Murattu Singam Shooting happend in Salem

Hi Friends,

I read like IKMS shooting was happened in our Salem last July. Any idea guys where did it happend?

Director Simbu Devan, who has a penchant and eye for details, is sculpting every frame of Irumbukottai Murattu Singam with care. This period film has three beauties Lakshmi Rai, Sandhya and Padmapriya as eye candies along with Raghava Lawrence, Ilavarasu and MS Bhaskar. As Simbu is a stickler for perfection, he has arranged for Lawrence to get trained in horse riding and shooting and the training is almost complete. The first and second leg of the shooting was completed in Palakkad and Ambasamudiram and now for the third leg, the unit is stationed at Salem. A huge set is erected in Salem where the shooting will begin from the 7th of July.

In recent times so many movie shootings happened in Salem.

* Kuruvi
* IrumbuKottaiMurattuSingam
* Krishna Leelai
* Pa.Ra.Palanisamy (PrabhuDeva's dad as hero)
* Gouravargal (Sathyaraj & Vignesh)
* Kantha (Karan) - This movie name i'm not sure

I think we are slowly getting back our lost charms in Tamil cinema industry.

i dont think IKMS shud have happened in Salem. they might have kept on schedule and dropped it for another location. coz there was not a even a gossip abt it in Salem. the movie shoot is over and ready for release.

small correction on Karan's movie name, its Irandu Mugam.

you wer right, irumbukottai shooting did happened in Salem.
Looks like All the red-indian part of scenes wer shot in our Magnesite mines. including a song sequence.
