Raavanan is getting released in the following theaters in Salem.

1. Keerthana
2. Ramana - 2shows
3. ARRS - Screen 4 & 5
4. Prakash
5. KS

Please add other theaters if i miss any.

Booked the tickets in Keerthana for Sunday 8.30 show.

Apart from this, Raavan(Hindi) is also releasing in Kailash ( 2 shows - 6.45 & 10.30 )

Just back from Raavanan! Vikram was Dan Dan Dan Dan!!!! Awesome.. nothing much to say about the story.. First half was very slow! Techinically Good!
Want to see the Hindi version too, to watch Vikram's Contrast Performance!

It's a big disappointment from Mani. Movie is very slow and we can predict the scenes easily specially Climax.

Photography is awesome. BGM is also good. But they have wasted the songs like anything in the movie.

I have booked my tickets @ Keerthana for Sunday morning 8:30 show. When we entered into the theatere Security told us the show has been cancelled.

When we asked him why it's cancelled, he didn't reply properly. Then we went inside and spoke with the Manager. He told us due to some power problem the show has been cancelled and he exchanged our tickets with 11:30 show.

The actual reason is only 18 people were there for the 8:30 show, because of this they have cancelled the show. There is no banner infront of theatere to display that 5 shows daily, in newspaper also they didn't mentioned about 5 shows per day. Only in Net booking we could find there are 5 shows on Weekend.

Un fortunately all 18 were booked through Internet only and we came to know what will happen if we book through net.

Ooops,
But i'm happy that atleast 18 people are there to book Internet tickets for a 8.30show in Salem. :mrgreen:

I think no fault with Mr. Manirathinam.. Sensor Played major role in that film.
If the story was taken by Mr.Manirathinam view, "Ravana(Vikram) is hero, Raman(Piruthivaraj) is Villian".. So Indian culture never accept this.. Thatsy sensor played a major role.. ( My Guess)..

I also disappointed with Keerthana theater.. Security guy way of talking not acceptable. One more thing they are not aware of banner value " Big cinema". I was tried to explaining one guy(keerthana staff), "you are the best theater and good banner too", he is laughing and saying "sir banner lam kattalnu" .
