Last weekend I was in Jaipur, which attracts lot of Indian 'n' foreign tourists. The main reason for this attraction is due to few forts which was constructed by the kings over the mountains which surrounds the entire city. Nothing much special in that city apart from those forts 'n' palaces. The fort's infrastructure are good 'n' it covers the entire city(you could say the city is within the forts). This city attracts huge tourists only because of those forts. The reason why Im discussing this here is, I saw Jaipur as an Image of Salem. The entire city is covered by mountains like Salem. They used those mountains properly to attract tourists. We have the resource that no other city in Tamil nadu has 'n' my intention is why dont Salem use these mountains to attract tourism. The officials should think about it. Lot of things can be done on these mountains. Friends, lets discuss about the possible ways of using these mountains to attract tourists towards Salem.

City view spots should be identified 'n' some watch towers should be built. Even though if it doesn't attract outsiders, I believe Salemites will be attracted.
