Saw this new curtains in 3A coaches(both B1 and B2) of 1064 SA MS express.

These kind of curtains will be seen only in 2A coaches. Curtains for each compartments and side berths. Window curtains are common in all AC coaches.
Donno whether they will implement these kind of curtains in 3A coaches of all trains?

Railways now slowly intorducing the screen to 3AC like that of 2AC. I have noticed the same during my North India visit 3 months back in many trains. Good that SA-MS get the facility. But the train's SL coaches are not good and in ugly condition. Is there any change in that?

Kannan sir.. no changes with sleeper coaches.. the reason is there is no proper cleaning done in MS or SA. the train has complete maintenance only at dadar.

Dear Members,

We should try to meet Salem DRM to press our much needed Salem-Chennai day express and Salem-Coimbatore express trains.

And Salem Town - Salem Market should be electrified!

Dear Logesh,

6085/86 is Arrakonam-Jolarpettai express.

A MEMU MA 19 leaves Moore Market Complex around 16:00 and arrives Arrakonam at 17:55 and same rake leaves to Jolarpettai as 6085 and reaches JTJ by 21:15

Morning it leaves JTJ at 07:00 as 6086 and reaches AJJ around 09:45 and leaves JTJ around 10:50 to reach MMC around 13:00hrs as AM 16.

From there it leaves to Sullurpettai then to Nellore and comes back... goes to Beach then to Arrakonam.... A complex rake sharing arrangement. :lol:

Lets say if they announce Salem Train with this rake.. will it not affect Sulurpet service?

Dear Logesh

If you see my mail, I have mentioned that it should be an conventional rake (means like Kovai/IC) and we cannot use the present rake of 6085, because it is a MEMU rake. So Arrakonam-MMC, MMC-Sullurpet service everthing will continue as of now, only 6085 will get replaced with conventional rake with a new slot between Chennai-Arrakonam and Jolarpettai-Salem.

Good efforts Arul. We can expect reply in line with staturation of lines, more trains/connectivity available and rake shortage. But our continuous effort we can get it within an year.

Today I am going to sent a letter thro tapal to SA division requesting various facilities/ trains for Salem which includes the day train also.

a compliant about our salem corporation . i always see the debris from the tasmac shop and other tiffin stalls located opp to salem jn are dumped just outside the gate of car parking(ingate) at salem jn . it is not speaks clean salem green salem . smc shoul act .
