The pressure is mounting on the Administration of Salem Division regarding
introducing morning train from Salem to Egmore via attur.

The people of Salem is expecting electrification work from Salem to Virudhalachalam.

Is there any proposal to include in the coming rail budget 2012-13?

Will the local MP look into this?

Yesterday I travelled from Atur to Salem by SA-VRI train.
Nearly 300 passengers were boarded at Atur Station.

It's right time as the people are using nowadays train rather than the buses because of dangerous driving by drivers of Private buses.

Hence, the Divisional Authorities will look into for introducing shuttle service
or If they have broadmind EMU can be introduced from this SA-VRI section
by electrification work from Salem-Vriddhachalam for which they have to
take proposal immediately for materilizing in the coming rail budget.

It's my request to DRM, SLM Dn for taking up proposal to the Rail Board.

So that, there will be no problem to introduce train service from Salem - Chennai via this route in the early morning i.e. 4.30 AM.

There is some construction work going on adjacent to Salem Junction railway station entrance.

In front of compound wall newly constructed adjance to PF 1A, lot of vacant
place is available.

I request the DRM, Salem to make use this place as mini garden.

This will certainly fetch another crown to SLM DVN as GREEN RLY STATION in the coming year i.e.2012.

I hope all will agree to this proposal.

I have suggested to improve the right side entrance of Salem Junction station.
Now some work is being undertaken. It seems bus stop island is being constructed.
If it is so, the new DRM is requested to think that the shelter is provided in this area alongwith
some small garden is formed entire stretch. It will be look very green. It will attract
a boost to the front elevation also.

Like this entire front entrance also should be made greenish with trees.(200 mts)

In the bus shelter newly erected at Salem Junction.
while providing seating facility, lights - a big clock should be provided.

Earlier I expected that a Bus shelter will be constructed
on the right wing entrance to Salem Jn.

There is no use providing half hearted shelter. Shelter upto full length
upto both side should be extended. If some trees are abstracting,
the branches should be cut and shelter to be constructed.
Otherwise, the open place will continuously used for urinals.
It is pathetic still the entire bus platform area is used for
urinals. I found yesterday some people are cooking under
the shelter.

The entire bus stop in the Salem Junction should be illuminated.

The respected DRM will have visit in this site in the morning
and evening and I hope it will be come up
even better the expectation mentioned above.

Is there any special fund to be allotted for improvement of Salem Junction Station.

If big shelter is provided in Car Parking area in front of Junction, the public will be seated till arrival of trains. Necessary welfare amenities also be given to public so as to keep the
station neat and hygienic condition.

I hope the DRM will accept the above suggestion in merit.

Let us wait what will be given in the Coming Rail Budget 2012-13

hai to everyone on Tamil New year 2012.

There is news about Salem Division without assigning code number.

It is informed that Palghat code number is being used for Salem Division.

After 5 years of inauguration, still running without code number, It is unbelivable.

Every citizen of Salem to rise on this issue and the code number and then only announcement of new trains from Salem will be declared by the Railway Board atleast in coming rail budget i.e.2013-14.
