the true fact is by area lot undeveloped areas are included in trichy corporation due to its location on riverbed. mainly speaking trichy is just split into many areas like srirangam uraiyor kk nagar karumandambam kattur tiruverumbur which are distinct areas each having its own imporatance.
also many towns like samayapuram lalgudi manachanaluur are located very near to the city compared to omalur attur mettur taramangalam kumaraplayam mallur eventhough in our districts they are far away
so many ppl claim themselves to trichy as their homes may be in respective towns but their main business location is trichy
actually considering the city alone both salem and trichy will be more or less same.
i feel its better to extend our corporation limits for our further growth and development
