Hi,

After 3 yrs i got chance to come my home, salem. Felt good to see salem with lot of new infra mainly in saradha college road and around.

One bad thing i saw is cut-out culture. Where ever i turn i am seeing only the cut-out from junction to dadagapatti.
that too cut-out of local politican (Mod Edit). It's really horrable he is a rouge and doing kattu panchayatu 4 yrs back after [----Mod edit----]He came to politics.., sure in another 2 yrs he will be spoil the salem.

God.., save salem.., my home.

Completely agree with your point! Off late, the cut-out culture has spread like wild fire in the city. Whenever I try to take a picture of the city, its hard to have a snap without the cut outs of these people.
Even though they have started doing something for the city and the region recently, it does not mean that they have to be seen in every corner of the city.
I don't know when they are going to do the politics in a decent manner without much publicity.
In developed countries like the US, this culture is not at all present. Their leaders are also remembered, but they don't talk much, but do much. Our leaders always talk much and do nothing.

Salem And Madurai are the only cities struggling a lot with cut-out's..
