# The structure at Uthamacholapuram is not an ROB, it is just a Road Fly-over.
# From what I observed last, there is no ROB coming up at the place where current NH-47 and SA-KRR BG line crosses at Kondalampatty. It looks like the train will go below the current road level. Please correct if this is wrong.

As of today (30.4.10) 2 branch lines of Trumpet IC ready with Tar Road and another 2 lines are ready with levelling level. The remaining works are (1) 2 branch line Tar Road laying (2) Joining of bridge gaps (3) road laying on main lane.

Hope it will be ready by May end.

Chinnathirupathi Main Road starting from Chinnathirupathi Bus Stop to Southern Roadways is widened and new road laid after a very very long period (after about 10+ yrs). Also From SR to Bharathi Vidyalana School, new road laid. Understand that the road is ready to handle mini bus that are going to introduce shortly in this stretch. (Presently Route No.47 running between City BS to Chinnathirupathi Temple via Maravaneri, Johnsonpet on 3 times a day).

Now almost the road laying work on all 4 sides nearing completion just 2-3 days is enough for this. Fencing and some jointing work is only pending on Trumpet IC.

After 3 postponment of opening dates (25th, 6th & 15th) finally the MEGA TRUMPET INTERCHANGE BRIDE opened from 21st June'10. A great achievement for Salem's development. I have travelled on it yesterday. It will took only 5 minutes to cross both the Trumpet IC and Uttamacholapuram Bridge. Totally 35 minutes required to cover SA-SGI in a jeep.
